Norfolk Councilman Tommy Smigiel endorses Phil Hernandez

Today, Phil Hernandez, Democratic Nominee in House District 94, received the endorsement of Norfolk City Councilman Tommy Smigiel. Councilman Smigiel represents Norfolk’s Ward 5, which covers nine of the fourteen voting precincts that make up the new 94th House District.

“Phil Hernandez is the Delegate that Norfolk needs in the General Assembly,” said Councilman Tommy Smigiel. “I’ve represented much of the new 94th House District on City Council for more than 12 years, and I know Phil will be a strong voice and effective legislator for Ocean View, Ward 5, and all of Norfolk. I look forward to working together with Phil to support Norfolk’s public schools, students, and educators, advance public safety, and help every family in our City succeed. Join me in voting for Phil on November 7th.”

Spanning the Norfolk shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay, the new 94th District covers much of the northern half of the City from the Port of Virginia to East Beach. The 94th will be one of the most competitive open seats in the Commonwealth this November.
