Protecting the future of Norfolk’s Titustown neighborhood

A piece of Norfolk’s Black history is working to get special recognition thanks to new state funding. In the early 1900s, it was a neighborhood built on faith, family, and Black homeownership during a time when none was guaranteed. Now, Norfolk’s Titustown community could finally get the official recognition some people say is long deserved.
